Changing the purpose of the blog a bit
Ok, less pictures and more information....well a few less pictures.
I was putting pictures up here for clients to see and get a sneak peek before seeing all of their images done. but with the holiday rush, and with my site traffic increasing i think i'm only going to put select images that convey the types of photos i'm doing at the time, as well as posting some info regarding scheduling etc.
So, just wanted to explain why there will be less photos here.

Holidays and FAQ
HOLIDAY RUSH:
if you think you want to book me and you need a weekend spot, please contact me asap. even if you don't have exact dates in mind i can at least secure a spot for you, and change it later as needed.
NO SATURDAYS?:
nope. fully booked for the fall/winter, except for the October 17th Baker Beach shoot.
I'M DUE SOON, HOW DO I PICK A DATE FOR NEWBORN PICTURES?:
first contact me and let me know your due date. we'll talk before the baby comes about what types of shots you want, etc. and we'll pick a placeholder date. this date will be around 1-2 wks after your due date. this placeholder is there in case you totally are overwhelmed and tired and do not want to even think about contacting a photographer once the baby comes. then at that point i'll contact you a day or so before our scheduled date and make sure you're ready. But, ideally you'll also shoot me an email when the baby arrives and then we can talk about if you want the shoot sooner or later.
DO YOU JUST PHOTOGRAPH KIDS?:
no. you'll see mainly kids on my site 1. because adults are more shy about having their photos posted 2. i think many photographers can do a great job shooting adults (adults usually listen and don't move as quickly), so i think if you found someone who can shoot a moving target (like a 2 yr old), then odds are adults are no problem. 3. the pictures are cuter. i have shot many adult-centered events, political functions, executive events and the sort but they're not as fun to look at as shots of kids digging in the sand or playing in the sprinklers.
DO YOU SHOOT SENIOR PORTRAITS OR SCHOOL PORTRAITS?:
yes, and 'tis the season. so if you are looking for a photographer to shoot images at your school (candid or posed) please contact me and i can show you examples. i don't have any school photos on my site for privacy reasons.
