tiny prints's favorite girls
Just did a shoot in sharon park with these fun girls. Their pictures from our april photo shoot are featured a lot on tiny prints cards so they may look familiar. We're taking images from various shoots to make a coffee table book for them. The books are great for christmas gifts, so please let me know if you are interested in one, at or after your photo shoot.

A boy and his car
I love the 12-18 month age. As a photographer, not necessarily as a parent. Kids that age are expressive and always cute, even when upset. Here are some shots from a recent photo shoot. This little guy and his parents were great and very cooperative. We learned on our adventure that you may not take pictures at filoli gardens. noted.
Halloween Party at Burgess Park
On Sunday, I was the photographer at a Halloween party held at Burgess park. It was the standard backdrop set up where people can come and have their family shots taken. Go to www.photographsbynicole.com/halloween to see more of the images from the event.

Traditional christmas card photographs
While candid/photojournalist style photography is my strong suit, sometimes a posed shot is what is wanted. For christmas and holiday cards, many people want a traditional shot of everyone looking at the camera and smiling. Here are a few images from a recent shoot in San Mateo. Everyone was so cooperative and content (which is rare with 3 young kids), that we were able to capture some great shots for their christmas card in just a matter of minutes.

baker beach photo shoot
Some shots from a recent baker beach shoot. The family and setting were great and doing the shoot at 9am was perfect for lighting.

fort baker photo shoot
For this shoot, we were hoping to photograph at the land's end trail in san francisco, but the fog didn't cooperate so we made a last minute decision to go across the bridge and shoot at fort baker instead. Here are a couple of shots from the shoot. If you are doing holiday card photos these may give you some ideas for coordinating colors for your family.
